Gravity of Motion

  Are you familiar with Minecraft? It has many fans and I'm sure that you know something about it. Minecraft is a game that involves placing blocks to make whatever you want. It's a game which encourages imagination and building. Players can build structures using cubes with textures within a 3D space. The game's commercial release comes with two major modes: Survival where players have to acquire resources and maintain their health and food; and Creative, which permits the player to have unlimited resources and the ability to fly in the air without idea of hunger or health. For birthdays, our kids awake to a home filled with birthday decorations. I made Minecraft plates and cups to use for the table setting. I stuck a Minecraft face to the cups. bonfire For the plates, I put an Minecraft face on green plates. Then, I stuck (hot glued around the edges) the clear plate on the top. The table decorations were Minecraft blocks. I also hung a few from the ceiling. The kids loved them. This link will take you to the Ultimate Guide to Minecraft Paper Products. They were simple to create. I used freezer paper stenciling to make my son's creeper shirt. For a birthday gift, I printed some Minecraft images. Then, I used an Minecraft word generator to add the words I wanted to the Creeper signs. The generator is available here: Minecraft MemeGenerator I ordered the Minecraft picture ax and used the packaging to make another sign with a decorative design. I created the Minecraft Steve heads using glue, paper and cardboard boxes. The Steve heads were a huge hit with the children. Here's a photo of my boys and the Steve heads in the morning before school. Although you can order Steve heads online, it is much cheaper to make them yourself, especially since I was making four.
